We love this sweet place- the ladies looking after us were kind, fun, helpful and lovely to chat with; the location was absolutely perfect; the breakfasts yummy and the place clean, charming and lovely. We would return in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to friends and family!! We will hope to come back and stay again!

We were very warmly welcomed when we arrived at the Posada. It is located down a short pedestrian-only lane from where the taxi dropped us off. Everything about the place is charming, from the room decor to the attractive courtyard to the lovely ladies who run the Posada. Julia, who greeted us, was happy to provide us with nearby restaurant suggestions, directions to various attractions and suggestions for tours. Leyre was equally helpful the next day. Breakfasts included fresh orange juice, seasonal fruits, homemade preserves and baked goods as well as local cheeses, ham and sausage. Lunch and dinner are also available on request. The one dinner we had was simple but delicious. The Posada is well-located near a variety of good restaurants and is only a short walk to major attractions such as the Cathedral and palace across from it. We did not walk to the Alhambra but it certainly can be done. If you don’t feel up to the hilly walking, there is a public bus service nearby that can take you where you want to go.

Estuvimos 3 parejas de fin de semana largo. Lo primero que llama la atención es la excelente ubicación de la Posada. Se respira el ambiente de Granada desde el principio. Habitaciones muy cómodas, de lujo. Con todo, lo más excepcional es el trato. Desde que entras tienes la sensación de estar en casa. Comida excelente y casera. Un trato humano distinto y lleno de cordialidad. Hablar con la Posadera es como hablar con la Historia de Granada en mayúsculas. Conoce cada rincón y cada esquina tiene una historia, un sabor y un color distinto conforme te lo explica. Si buscas algo distinto, humano, cercano y entrañable, valorarás esta maravillosa Posada y a sus gentes

I thought the Albaicin couldn’t get any better until Ainhoa opened the Posada and there became this amazing place to stay. Stylish and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Alhambra from the upper terrace and duvets soft as clouds, it is a heavenly place to rest and relax. I love the sumptuous breakfast feasts with gastronomic treats like home made jam and cakes to prepare for a day of activities. Best of all is the friendly attentive hospitality and the warm welcoming laugh of the lovely hostess. I couldn’t recommend anywhere else to stay in Granada more highly than here!
