Guided visits to the Historical and Monumental Cemetery of Granada / Discover one of the oldest and most significant cemeteries in Spain.

The tour invites you to experience different and less well known prospects of the cemetery, and presents the Cemetery of San José as a place of living, linked to the history and culture of the city, and also illustrates the changes in the customs of the families , spirituality and death.

Inside, in addition to hosting interesting examples of funerary sculpture and architecture of the XIX, XX and XXI centuries, many of them cataloged and performed by significant artists and sculptors of Granada, Spanish and international, is the final resting place of many of the relevant people of the city many of them known for their contribution to the development of the nation. All this together with the unique views of Sierra Nevada, Granada and its vega and archaeological remains of the Nasrid Palace of the Alixares (XV century) form a unique historical landscape ensemble.
